Wangchuk issues 1st statement after Pradhan resigns, says 'Democracy straight from streets'

Activist Sonam Wangchuk issued first statement after the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. "IT'S A VICTORY OF DEMOCRACY. Direct democracy...straight from the streets...Thank you all citizens for shedding fear and the fear of fear and rising up from every corner of the nation," said Wangchuk. Wangchuk ended his hunger strike after 26 days on Friday.
