Wanindu Hasaranga breaks world record for taking most wickets in 5 consecutive ODIs

Sri Lanka bowling all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga has broken the world record for taking the most wickets in five consecutive ODI matches. Hasaranga has now taken 22 wickets in five consecutive ODIs. With his 10-0-79-5 against Ireland in ODI World Cup Qualifier 2023 match, Hasaranga also became the first-ever spinner to take three consecutive five-wicket hauls in ODI cricket.
