Want to shut all 800 restaurants but our Russian partner refused: Burger King owner

Restaurant Brands International, the parent company of Burger King, said it wants to immediately shut all its 800 restaurants in Russia but its Russian joint venture partner has "refused" to do so. "We can't unilaterally suspend operations" because it's a "complicated legal process", it added. Earlier, the company suspended corporate support for Russian locations amid Ukraine's invasion.
