LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka said the franchise wanted to retain players who've a mindset to win and who put the team before their personal goals. LSG retained Nicholas Pooran for ₹21 crore, Ravi Bishnoi for ₹11 crore, Mayank Yadav for ₹11 crore, Mohsin Khan for ₹4 crore and Ayush Badoni for ₹11 crore. Notably, LSG let go of KL Rahul.
