Waqf-linked 'Musafir Khana' in Varanasi demolished over illegal encroachment

Public Works Department launched a two-day demolition drive in Varanasi's Dalmandi against structures linked to a Waqf Board-run 'Musafir Khana', officials said. Over 300 security personnel were deployed to maintain order during the operation, which aimed to reclaim encroached land. Officials added that all legal procedures had been completed and notices were issued before the demolition began.
