War crimes committed in Ukraine, UN-mandated probe body says
The UN's Commission of Inquiry on Ukraine has concluded that Russian forces committed war crimes in Ukrainian areas previously held by them, the probe body's chief said on Friday. Atrocities including executions, torture, rape and confinement of children were perpetrated, Erik Mose added. However, no "general pattern" of soldiers using sexual violence as a strategy could be established, Mose said.
