War has costs: Iran on charging ships ₹18 crore toll to pass through Strait of Hormuz

Iran has decided to charge some vessels $2 million (over ₹18 crore) to pass through Strait of Hormuz amid its ongoing war with US and Israel, an Iranian lawmaker confirmed. "Now...because war has costs...naturally we must do this and take transit fees from ships passing through...the Strait of Hormuz," said Alaeddin Boroujerdi. He added that the move shows Iran's "authority".
