Warner Music sues to block its songs from Spotify in India

Warner Music Group has asked the Bombay High Court to block music-streaming service Spotify from offering songs from its catalogue in India. Spotify said Warner "revoked a previously agreed-upon publishing licence for reasons wholly unrelated to Spotify's launch in India". Spotify is planning to use an Indian rule that governs broadcasters to offer songs from Warner's publishing division.
