Warren Buffet advises US govt to 'spend wisely' in his annual letter
In his annual letter to Berkshire Hathaway's shareholders, billionaire investor Warren Buffet included advice for US government, currently led by President Donald Trump. Noting that his company paid $26.8 billion in taxes in 2024, he said, "Spend it wisely. Take care of the many who, for no fault of their own, get the short straws in life. They deserve better."
