Tesla's billionaire CEO Elon Musk opened up about contracting malaria in 2000, adding that he was 36 hours away from being "unrecoverable". Musk tweeted, "I was first misdiagnosed at Stanford Hospital with viral meningitis, then again misdiagnosed at Sequoia." He added, "A visiting doctor from San Jose General saw my charts and sent me to ICU immediately."
