Was asked to remove 'janeu' before exam: Student appearing for CET in B'luru

A student appearing for Common Entrance Test (CET) in Bengaluru alleged that candidates wearing 'Janeu’ (a sacred thread) were asked to remove it before entering the exam centre at Krupanidhi College in Madivala. "They told me if you don't remove it, we won't allow you to write the exam," he claimed. Three professors have been suspended after complaints from parents.
