Was bundled & thrown into jail, had no contact with family for 10 days: Wangchuk

Climate activist Sonam Wangchuk said he was “bundled and thrown into jail” without any access to his family or legal counsel for nearly 10 days. He further urged for constructive talks between government and people to resolve Ladakh’s issues. Wangchuk was released from Jodhpur jail on March 14, after 170-day detention under NSA after protests demanding statehood for Ladakh.
