Was considered for role of Farhan in '3 Idiots': Sharman Joshi

Actor Sharman Joshi, speaking about '3 Idiots', said the film is 'Sholay' of "our time". Sharman, who played Raju Rastogi in the film, revealed he was considered for the role of Farhan in the film. "I auditioned for [Raju Rastogi's role]...I was [also] considered for Farhan...I ended up playing Raju eventually," Sharman said. R Madhavan played Farhan in the film.
