Was difficult to adapt 'Forrest Gump' in Indian context: 'Laal...' writer

'Laal Singh Chaddha' writer Atul Kulkarni, while speaking about the upcoming film, said that it was difficult to adapt Tom Hanks-starrer 'Forrest Gump' in the Indian context. He added that they have made it a "desi film". "Also, [when I had written the remake years ago], I had visualised only Aamir (Khan) in the role," Atul further said.
