Was on verge of alcoholism when 'Dil Pe Mat Le Yaar!!' didn't work: Hansal

Filmmaker Hansal Mehta has revealed that he was on the verge of becoming "a certified alcoholic" when his 2000 film 'Dil Pe Mat Le Yaar!!' didn't work. "There was political backlash...I got depressed for 6-7 months...Luckily something snapped," he added. Hansal said he picked up the pieces and made 2002 film 'Chhal' and has never given up at the start.
