Was sleeping when son took car: Keralam judge to HC in Mercedes crash case

The additional district judge whose minor son crashed the family's Mercedes-Benz in Kochi, killing a man, said he was sleeping when his son drove the luxury car out of their home. The judge said he learnt of the accident through a phone call. Granting him anticipatory bail, the Kerala High Court said, "He is a judicial officer; he will cooperate."
