Was told 'Have rasgulla for fair baby', racism still there: Masaba

Actor-designer Masaba Gupta said she was advised to have rasgulla and milk to deliver a fairer child. "My masseuse told me, 'Your child must not turn out dusky.' It was said with so much innocence. What can I do? Punch my masseuse?" she told Faye D'Souza. Adding that racism is still there, Masaba said, "It's 2024, and it hasn't changed."
