Was told they'd throw me from 8th floor: Dalit PG student in Mumbai

Sugat Padghan, a 24-year-old student from the Scheduled Castes, studying in Mumbai's King Edward Memorial Hospital, had reportedly filed FIR, alleging harassment by fellow students. "I was threatened, abused, called casteist slurs by three fellow students," Padghan said, adding, "At times, they said that if I talk loudly they will throw me from the 8th floor of hostel building."
