Washington Sundar gets ₹75 lakh reward from TN CM Vijay after India's gold at Asiad

Tamil Nadu CM Vijay announced a cash award of ₹75 lakhs for Tamil Nadu-born India all-rounder Washington Sundar after India men's cricket team bagged the gold medal at Asian Games 2026. "Sundar's victory will provide new inspiration and confidence to the younger generation," he stated. CM Vijay also congratulated Team India, who defeated Pakistan by 19 runs in the final.
