Washington Sundar smashes fastest fifty by an Indian batting at no. 6 in a T20I

India all-rounder Washington Sundar on Friday smashed the fastest fifty by an Indian batting at number six in a T20I. The 23-year-old reached his fifty off 25 deliveries against New Zealand to set the record. The previous record was held by Dinesh Karthik, who took 26 balls to slam a fifty batting at number six against South Africa last year.
