Wasn't looking to save follow-on, tried not to get out: Akash Deep
India pacer Akash Deep said he "wasn't looking to save the follow-on" on Day 4 of the Gabba Test against Australia. "I was just looking not to get out," he added. The 28-year-old further stated, "We come to bat lower down the order, so contributions of 20-25-30 runs are very valuable," he added. Akash scored 31(44) in India's first innings.
