Waste mafia from Rajasthan chokes Haryana villages

The ecologically sensitive Aravalli foothills on the Haryana-Rajasthan border have again turned into a graveyard for toxic industrial waste. A resilient "waste mafia", allegedly operating from the Bhiwadi industrial cluster in Rajasthan, is using border villages in Haryana's Tauru region as clandestine dumping and burning grounds, sparking a severe public health and environmental crisis.
