23-year-old Mitchell Owen continued to grow from strength to strength, with the right-handed opener smashing a 69-ball 149 for Tasmania against South Australia on February 23. Owen picked up from where he left in List A cricket with a 48-ball century, the third-fastest in List A cricket for an Australian cricketer, only behind Jake Fraser-McGurk (29) and Glenn Maxwell (40).
