Argentine midfielder Ángel Di María scored from a distance of 30.2 yards against France in the Round of 16 on Saturday to register the longest goal scored in the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The 30-year-old collected a pass from midfielder Ever Banega and curled the ball away from the goalkeeper into the net, helping Argentina equalise in the 41st minute.
