Water in Pune's Pavana dam increased by 22% due to heavy rains
Heavy rains on Wednesday and Thursday have led to a 22% increase in the Pavana dam's water level. On Thursday, 227 mm of rainfall was recorded in the dam area. The Pavana dam supplies water to Maval taluka and Pimpri Chinchwad city and currently has 66.75% water storage. Last year at the same time, the dam had 35% water storage.
