Water levels in Mumbai's lakes drop to 6.75% despite rain

The combined water stock in Mumbai's seven lakes fell to 6.75% from 6.93% on June 30 despite recent rainfall, according to BMC data. The combined stock of the seven lakes stood at 97,666 million litres, compared to the total capacity of 14.47 lakh million litres. Last year, the combined stock during the same period was at over 40%.
