Waterlogging in Mumbai due to heavy rains, yellow alert issued

Several parts of Mumbai witnessed waterlogging after the city received overnight and continuous morning rain. Vehicles were seen moving through the waterlogged streets in low-lying areas like Kurla, Sion, Dadar, and Parel. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for heavy rainfall throughout the day in Mumbai, Thane, and Palghar districts.
