Waterlogging in parts of Pune after city receives heavy rain

Pune city on Saturday recorded 11.6 mm rainfall, accompanied by thunder, which gave rise to waterlogging in several areas. An IMD official said, "Due to high temperature, convective activities led to thunder and rain, which will be experienced till Monday." Officials added that more rain is forecast over parts of Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha and Konkan during the next week.
