Wawrinka beats Tsitsipas in 5 hrs 9 min to reach French Open last 8

Stanislas Wawrinka defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas 7-6(8-6), 5-7, 6-4, 3-6, 8-6 in five hours and nine minutes on Sunday to reach the quarter-final of the French Open. It was the fourth-longest match in French Open history. Wawrinka will face world number three Roger Federer in the quarter-final on Tuesday. Wawrinka had won the French Open in 2015.
