Wayanad man dies after scooter collides with pickup van

Wayanad resident Rasheed, 57, died after the scooter he was riding with his wife collided with a pickup van on the Thamarassery Kaithapoyil-Knowledge City road. The accident occurred around 7:30 PM, after which the couple was taken to hospital and later shifted to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital. Rasheed succumbed to his injuries around 2 AM.
