Wayanad survivors recall landslide horror two years later

Two years after the devastating Wayanad landslides, survivors in Mundakkai and Chooralmala continue to live in fear whenever it rains. Residents gathered in Kalpetta to pay tribute to the 298 victims, with many sharing emotional memories of loss and trauma. Although many families have been rehabilitated, survivors said the tragedy continues to haunt their daily lives.
