Waymo to recall nearly 3,800 robotaxis in US over software issue

Waymo is set to recall 3,791 robotaxis in US over an issue in its self-driving software, the country's highway traffic safety body said. The issue can cause the vehicles to drive onto flooded roads, for which Waymo is updating maps to include weather-related constraints. The firm is also facing a probe in US after its self-driving vehicle struck a child.
