WB govt launches drive to bring back over 22 lakh migrant workers

The West Bengal government has launched a special drive to bring back migrant workers belonging to the state who travel across the country for work. The government has identified over 22 lakh such migrant workers in 22 districts, with Murshidabad accounting for the highest number. The drive aims at bringing workers and their families under Centre's VB-G RAM G scheme.
