WB, Odisha saw maximum rise in crimes against women in 2020: NCRB

West Bengal and Odisha witnessed the maximum rise in crimes against women in 2020 compared to 2019, according to the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) report released on Tuesday. Delhi saw a decline of 25% from 13,395 cases in 2019 to 10,093 cases in 2020. The overall crimes against women in India reduced by 8.3% in 2020 compared to 2019.
