WB orders shutting down of malls & restaurants, bans social gatherings amid COVID-19

West Bengal government on Friday imposed COVID-19 restrictions in the state, ordering the shutting down of shopping complexes, malls, cinema halls and restaurants until further orders. All social/ cultural/ academic/ entertainment related gatherings shall remain prohibited. Bazaars/ hats will remain open only during 7-10 am in the morning and 3-5 pm in the afternoon.
