WB school education dept cancels teachers’ transfer notification

Amid protest by teachers against West Bengal government, the state School Education Department has cancelled notification of transfers teachers. The department sought transfer application from the school teachers on February 10. Teachers whose schools are far from their residence, can apply for transfer. Last week, the department withdrew the notification indefinitely.
