WB schools, colleges to remain shut from tomorrow; offices to operate at 50% capacity

Amid a rise in COVID-19 cases, all schools, colleges, universities and spas will be closed in West Bengal from Monday, January 3, state Chief Secretary HK Dwivedi said. Salons, beauty parlours, zoos and entertainment parks will also remain shut. “All government and private offices to operate at 50% capacity, all administrative meetings to be conducted via virtual mode,” Dwivedi added.
