WC-winning India Women cricket team nominated for Laureus World Team of the Year Award

In a first, India Women cricket team has been nominated for the Laureus World Team of the Year Award. The 2026 nomination comes after they won the Women's ODI World Cup for the first time in November 2025. They'll be competing for the title with five other teams, including the England women's football team and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
