We all went bankrupt, I had ₹1 crore debt: 'Golmaal' actor Susmita on doing 'C-grade' films

'Golmaal' actress Susmita Mukherjee said she took up sexist, C-grade films derogatory to women out of "helplessness" after she and her husband went bankrupt. "In 2002, my husband and I lost our media company...It was a ₹1 crore loan...Track Cinema and Anil Chaudhary Production...we all went bankrupt," she added. "That's why I had to do all that work," she said.
