We almost felt delusional as others ignored AI data: Sam Altman

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said on the podcast that one of the "most confusing things" he has seen is why others, looking at the same data from 2015 to 2021, didn't invest more in AI. "It seemed so obvious to me...we felt delusional because...how can people not see this?" he said. He added that the idea "almost felt too easy".
