We are prepared: US on China's 'ready for any war' remark

US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth on Wednesday said that US is "prepared", following warnings from China that it was ready for "any war" over rising trade tensions. "Those who long for peace must prepare for war," Hegseth said, stressing on "deterrence in the warrior ethos". China is set to levy a 10-15% retaliatory tariff on US' goods from March 10.
