Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko convened a meeting to summarise results of the comprehensive inspection of the Armed Forces. "There can be no peacetime. We're preparing for war. That is precisely why we created the Armed Forces, why we maintain them," he said. "We're absolutely against war...We do not want war, but this is what an army is for," he added.
