The White House defended Argentina players' decision to display a banner reading "Las Malvinas Son Argentinas (The Falklands are Argentine)" after beating England in the FIFA World Cup semi-final. "We believe in our First Amendment rights in the US," Andrew Giuliani, head of the White House FIFA Task Force, said. The First Amendment provides constitutional protection for free speech.
