We call on India & Pakistan to exercise restraint: France

French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot responded to India's 'Operation Sindoor' against Pakistan on May 7 in response to Pahalgam terrorist attack. "We understand India's desire to protect itself against the scourge of terrorism. But we obviously call on both India and Pakistan to exercise restraint, to avoid escalation and, of course, to protect civilians," he said.
