Former Singaporean diplomat Bilahari Kausikan recalled how the four Pakistanis who hijacked Singapore Airlines Flight SQ117 in 1991 demanded to speak to ex-PM Benazir Bhutto. But when Kausikan reached out to her house in Sindh, a servant/member told him, "Ma'am is sleeping, cannot be disturbed," and hung up. Pakistani politicians are a "waste of time" regardless of party, Kausikan said.
