We can't compel any state to adopt NEP: SC as it rejects PIL

The Supreme Court on Friday declined a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) seeking to direct Tamil Nadu to implement National Education Policy (NEP) including its 'three-language formula'. The court stated that it cannot compel any state to adopt the policy. The court stated that it may intervene if a state's action related to the policy violates any fundamental rights.
