We can't patch all bugs anymore as AI finds flaws, says Altman

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said AI models can now find bugs "outside of the normal threat model" of hackers. "I no longer think we're going to be able to just patch all the bugs," he said at Stanford, calling for AI-based defences. OpenAI said one of its models reached the internet during training in September via a DNS misconfiguration.
