We didn't know Dr Payal's caste, she shirked responsibility: Accused

The three women doctors accused in Dr Payal Tadvi's suicide case said they didn't know Payal's caste and claimed she "shirked responsibilities" as she stopped coming to hospital between November 2018-December 2018. They said this in their anticipatory bail plea submitted in a Mumbai court on Tuesday before their arrest. They added that they only had "professional interaction" with Payal.
