We haven't been allotted rooms: Srinath on India's 'terrible' experience at Chess Olympiad
India's chess team captain Srinath Narayanan raised concerns over the team's "terrible" experience after arriving at Uzbekistan's Samarkand for the 46th FIDE Chess Olympiad on Tuesday. "The team landed five hours ago at Samarkand airport...[but they] still haven't been allotted rooms," Srinath posted on X, adding that there was no clarity on when the rooms would be allotted.
