We haven't slept for 4 days: Worker amid construction at Chinnaswamy days before IPL opener

Days before the RCB-SRH IPL 2026 opener at Bengaluru's M Chinnaswamy Stadium, ESPNcricinfo reported that the stadium resembled a construction site. While the playing surface was completely ready, sheets of plywood were scattered at the main entrance and masons, carpenters, contractors and vendors were all working in unison, it added. "We haven't slept for four days," one worker said.
